There was enough slack that she helped him, kept the blanket over his legs for modesty. Most of the nurses left the room, intent on getting to another patient or to get a break. Only one stayed, pulling over the dreaded treatment syringe and the bowl of water. It certainly looked intimidating, even if Lia's handling of it was nearly expert.
